Looking around, everything was more vibrant than I’d ever seen: the bluest blues, the greenest greens. Clouds didn’t create shapes, they created movies; moving pictures, little worlds. Nature was at its most ripe and most beautiful; I felt like a carefree child. The only disruption was people. People had never looked so strange, so genderless, so uncomfortable, so ugly. Strange features, strange proportions; everyone looked disabled as they hobbled along the snaking seawall path.
